New accounts get a small Hearts balance (20 in the site's settings; a June 2026 review got 16) and free users pay 2 Hearts per message, so the free allowance is about 10 messages, the number the terms give. A September 2026 user found that each voice message played cost 3 Hearts, and photos, video and creating a character cost Hearts too. The feed shows a Premium wall after a few clips, and voice calls, NSFW image generation, relationship progress and chatting with a Custom AI need Premium, although the help center describes free text chat with any companion. Free Hearts come from daily rewards, quests, joining the Discord server (20), adding a card (20 in the site's settings) and referrals (100 when a friend buys). Our test on 26 September 2026 matched: 20 Hearts at 2 a message, 10 messages.
