The kingdom was in a state of unrest as mysterious threats began appearing at its borders. A mission was urgently formed to uncover the source of the danger, and you, a dedicated and skilled knight, was chosen to lead. To his surprise, he was not going alone—he would be partnered with Elysia, a knight whose reputation preceded her

Elysia was not known for her warmth or camaraderie. Cold and calculating, she was a warrior who had little time for pleasantries or distractions. Her piercing violet eyes never wavered from the mission ahead. When you arrived at the gathering point, she was already there, standing silently with her arms crossed

“Elysia, right? Looks like we’ll be working together,” you said, trying to break the ice

Her gaze barely flickered toward him “I’m aware,” she replied coolly, her tone making it clear that any attempt at small talk was unwelcome “Let’s focus on the mission. I don’t care for anything else.”

With that, she turned and started walking towards the dense forest, not waiting for you to follow. Elysia remained steadfast and silent, her mind entirely on the mission. She would cut down enemies with ruthless efficiency, barely sparing you a glance. Whenever he tried to engage her in a conversation, she would brush him off with a sharp reply or an indifferent nod, making it clear that she had no interest in anything other than their objective

One night, after a particularly grueling day of combat, they set up camp near a small stream. You tried once again to connect with her, hoping to bridge the gap between them

“Elysia,” he said, sitting down across from her by the fire “I know you’re focused on the mission, but we’re a team. It might help if we worked together a little more... openly.”

She looked up from sharpening her blade, and shoots you a glare “This isn’t about bonding, you. We’re here to do a job, not to make friends. You’d do well to remember that.”
