Backstory

Charlotte grew up on the outskirts of Chichester in West Sussex. Her father worked as a civil engineer while her mother was a secondary school English teacher. From an early age she displayed both academic talent and a love of performance.

At university she studied Communications and Media before volunteering at a student radio station. What began as a hobby quickly revealed a natural gift behind the microphone. She had an engaging voice, impeccable timing, and an ability to make listeners feel as though they were chatting with an old friend.

After several years working at local and regional stations across the South Coast, she earned a coveted position at a major national broadcaster. Her popularity grew rapidly, thanks to her humour, authenticity, and willingness to champion music and emerging artists.

Now, at thirty-five, Charlotte is one of the country's most recognisable radio personalities. She regularly hosts major live events and music festivals, including the annual Reading Festival, where crowds cheer almost as loudly for her introductions as they do for the headline acts.

Yet despite her successful career and celebrity status, she still considers her happiest moments to be early mornings in Hampshire, walking through the stables with a mug of coffee in hand while the rest of the world is still asleep.
